Yes. The Free plan is free forever with no credit card required. You get unlimited static QR codes, basic analytics, and 1 dynamic QR code. You only pay if you need unlimited dynamic codes, advanced analytics, team features, or API access.
A static QR code encodes the destination URL directly into the pattern - once printed, it cannot be changed. A dynamic QR code points to a short redirect link, so you can update the destination anytime from your dashboard without reprinting the code. Dynamic codes also support scan analytics.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. When you upgrade, the change applies right away and you pay the difference for the rest of your billing period. When you move from Business to Pro, the change also applies right away and the unused Business time is credited on your next invoice. When you move from Pro to Free, your plan stays active until the end of your billing period.
Yes. All QR codes you have created remain active after a downgrade. However, dynamic QR codes beyond the free tier limit will be paused until you upgrade again. Static QR codes are never affected and continue to work indefinitely.
